Position: Civil Trial Attorney

Salary: $50,000-$100,000 /yr

Requirements:

Must be a licensed, non-political, no holds barred, fighter that is willing to challenge the system and not afraid to fight. Areas of expertise must include civil rights, police procedure, criminal justice/prison systems, and Constitutional law. Some experience in areas such as contracts, medical/professional malpractice, bankruptcy, and administrative law a plus. Should be willing to speak in public and expand areas of expertise to learn and take on work in areas that are outside areas of specialty. We give first opportunity to those that have worked with CAAPS as a volunteer in the past. We are looking for that diamond in the rough that will be the next great name in Civil Litigation. Work from home is available.

Position: Position: Criminal Trial Attorney

Salary: $50,000-$100,000 /yr

Requirements:

Looking for a gunslinger that is not afraid to fight and dedicated to representing clients to the fullest extent of our Constitutional protections. Our clients do not come to us for plea bargains; they want fighters and we want fighters that will push the envelope and be instrumental in reforming the criminal justice system. The qualified candidate should be familiar with the prison system, be an excellent communicator and know how to get things done. We are seeking the next great Alan Dershowitz, F. Lee Baily, or Johnny Cochran. Prior volunteer experience with CAAPS is not required which however we do offer those we have worked with previously an advantage. Cut your teeth here and make your name getting all the litigation experience you can handle. This is a fast paced office, but we do not have our attorney's take on more clients than they can handle. An overworked attorney does not help anyone. 

Position: Private Investigator

Salary: $50,000-$100,000 /yr

Requirements:

Must be licensed private investigator not afraid to go where the investigation takes them whether it be investigating police officers, probation officers, court personnel, politicians, corporate officers, or criminals. Must have experience in Criminal and Civil litigation, giving testimony, and be able to think outside the box as an individual and team player. Must be self motivated. Must be able to communicate with, take direction from, and direct both criminal and civil trial attorneys. Police officers are welcome to apply, however they may not be comfortable in this company. A former Internal affairs investigator may find themselves more at home with us. Previous volunteer efforts with our organization is an advantage; will consider entry level investigators.

Position: Professional Fundraiser

Salary: Commission based Position: 10% of gross funds raised on a residual basis, after 90 day probationary period, candidate may opt for a salary based on performance. 

Requirements:

Must have experience raising funds for non-profit organizations. This is an independent contractor position that could eventually lead to a salaried position within our organization. Should have experience with event planning, solicitations, sales, cold calling, and formal grant writing. The ideal candidate will also have a network of people to rely on that are ready to donate. Each of our offices cost about $1,000,000/year to operate so we need that dynamic person that can effectively be their own boss and help us to reach our annual budgetary goals.  Must be able to create and implement fundraising initiatives as well as collaborate with office staff on making organizational financial goals a success. Will consider entry level for the right self motivated, ambitious candidates. Written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.  Public speaking and bi-lingual is a plus. This position can become a salaried position after a 90 day probationary period.

Volunteers:

CAAPS is seeking a wide array of volunteers from people with little to no skills to people with high level business skills. Our volunteer personnel are the lifeblood of our organization. Volunteering gives you the benefit of flexible hours, the ability to earn commissions on any money you are directly responsible for bringing into the company, and the networking contacts with other businesses and individuals that may get you closer to your goals in life when they see what a great service you are providing them. We currently ahve a need for paralegals, and legal researchers, business management specialists, attorneys, mental health counselors, and people that are capable of completing every day menial tasks as assigned. Training provided for those with needs.
